You will find a huge variety of delicious cuisine around every corner of our little island. From takeaways to formal sit down meals, and for every occasion in between, Caye Caulker offers visitors a fresh taste of the Caribbean and also a little of what you might miss from back home.
Guests of Seaside Cabanas can enjoy freshly baked cinnamon rolls and donuts, along with tropical fruit salad each morning. Tea and coffee is also served.
The Hotel Bar serves a selection of light snacks throughout the day (Panini’s, salsa and chips, fresh Ceviche – subject to availability) but there are many other great spots to dine out on the island, or to grab a takeaway from. Click on the following links to see some of our favourite places.
In addition to the establishments listed, there are numerous street vendors too. Don’t miss the ‘Pie Man’ selling delicious freshly baked meat pies, key-lime pies and other cakes. “Jolly Roger” near the Oceanside Bar & “Budget Man” on the beach near Ragamuffin tours.
The Sandbox
Only a few steps from Seaside Cabanas, the Sandbox is quite literally full of sand! The serve a wide variety of dishes all day long, but their breakfasts are particularly good value. Try their Banana pancakes, or Muffin Sandwich or how about a breakfast burrito with fry jacks?
Amor y Café
Cute little café located behind the Hotel on front street. Open early for those who need a caffeine fix or pre-dive breakfast. Serves toasted sandwiches on homemade bread and delicious whole-wheat waffles.
Happy Lobster
Located just 100yds along Front Street this family run restaurant offers a good fried breakfast and simple meals throughout the day and evening.
